Job History

After nearly a decade of teaching high school children in Illinois and California, Rita helped a wide variety of buyers and sellers as a Century 21 Realtor from 1989 to 2005 and then joined The Martin Group in Mission Viejo from 2005 to 2007. Today she owns the boutique company Coast to Canyon Real Estate where she serves as Broker and manages seven agents in their virtual office.


Volunteer Experience

Rita has held the volunteer role of Director of the Orange County Association of Realtors from 2011- 2019, and also served as President for the Orange County Association of Realtors in 2015. She is also on the board of California Association of Realtors and committees at the National Association of Realtors.


Awards

She received the Centurion Award for her work with Century 21 six years in a row and achieved their Quality Service Award five years running. She is very active in the community, volunteering her time with Easter Seals, Bathgate PTA, Las Flores PTA, Capistrano Valley Aquatics Boosters, Guide Dogs of America, Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity.


Personal Information

Rita enjoys spending her free time with her husband Don, a retired Fire Captain for LA County Fire, and her two sons Torrey and Danny.
